"The same arguments that led to the disappearance of long wave also apply to broadcast television, officially known as Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) or TDT. Viewers are moving away from traditional channels to consume digital media online, making it difficult to justify spending on conventional transmission equipment. Therefore, the government and industry bodies are evaluating a transition towards abandoning traditional television broadcasts between 2034 and 2044."
