Worker co-ops represent 73.5% of the total growth of cooperativism. In total there are already 25,499 cooperatives, of which more than 80% are associated work cooperatives.
All cooperatives registered with the Social Security have 8,577 more workers than in 2024, with a total of 343,634 direct jobs. 52.28% of cooperative jobs correspond to women. The new cooperatives created during the last year generated 2,672 member jobs, with 76.4% of this activity concentrated in the services sector.
