Social fragmentation operates on different axes (politics, identity, territory, generation), so the frameworks of shared belonging that previously sustained the common project are lost. The belief in a better future darkens, as does the link between effort and personal/family progress.

"Young people distrust work; They do not see it as a merit that rewards and prefer inherited wealth as a lifeline for status and a lever to prosper in the future," comments JM Lassalle.

The main problems of the country according to the respondents (chosen from a list of eleven options) are the cost of living (53.8%), housing (42.9%, more than ten points), and, in a second tier, healthcare (36.2%) and corruption (34.9%). The issues that worried the least were depopulation and abandonment of rural areas (9%) and education (13.9%).
