With 84% of creator accounts belonging to women and consumption being predominantly male, the study reveals that the digital sexual economy is sustained by the commercialization of young women's intimacy. The report documents the recruitment processes, the violence, and the lack of protection surrounding this market, and proposes a series of measures to protect children and adolescents, demand greater accountability from digital platforms, and curb the normalization of pornography and the commodification of sexuality on the internet.
